What should I do when the message "No Printer Attached" pops up on the screen?

A temporary solution would be to select a printer.
How to select a printer:

  1. Go to File and select Print
  2. When the "Print" box pops up, click on "Find Printer"
  3. When the "Find Printer" box pops up, click on "Find Now"
  4. This will bring up a list of printers. Pick the printer that begins with "Miller" and the floor you are located.
  5. Click "OK"
  6. The printer should be available to see in the top box. You may to click the printer icon to make it print to the newly added printer.
Note: This is not 100% permanent. The printer is installed and tied only to the user's account. Once the user logs off and someone else logs on, the driver to that printer will no longer be there.

You can also manually install a printer.
How to install a printer:

  1. Click the Start Menu
  2. In the Search Box, type in "run" OR Press Windows Key + R.
  3. Type in "\\zinc" without the quotes, then Press OK.
  4. Search for the floor that the user is printing on and install its respective printer by double-clicking the driver. The printer choices are the same as the above.
Note: This is not 100% permanent. The printer is installed and tied only to the user's account. Once the user logs off and someone else logs on, the driver to that printer will no longer be there.

If the printer is not working on the floor the user is printing, please pick a printer on another floor.

The Printers Choices Are:

  • MillerGptr (Miller Ground floor)
  • Miller3ptr (Miller 3rd floor)
  • Miller2ptr (Miller 2nd floor)
  • Miller1ptr (Miller 1st floor)

Contact Tammy if there is a computer that does not have a printer installed on it.
